What is IRC Chalkboard?

IRC Chalkboard lets you draw via IRC. When several IRC Chalkboard clients are connected to the same IRC channel, everything that is drawn on one of them is automatically broadcasted and drawn on the Chalkboards of all others. Paintings of different authors (up to 6 people are supported) are displayed with different colors.

Does it generate lots of traffic?

NO. IRC Chalkboard transfers the painting in vector format, i.e. as a set of vertices. The image shown on the right was drawn by several persons in 15 minutes, some of its parts were erased and re-painted, but the total IRC traffic was only about 40Kb. The painting looks like:
